Jay Geller, the Samuel Rosenthal Professor of Judaic Studies and associate professor of history, wrote a book published by the Cornell University Press last month titled The Scholems: A Story of the German Jewish Bourgeoisie from Emancipation to Destruction.
The book details the Jewish experience in Germany, through the lens of the story of one family leading up to World War II.
Times Higher Education, the leading British publication for news and issues related to higher education, also recently published a review of the book.
