History scholar to present annual African American Studies guest lecture April 15

Collier-ThomasBettye Collier-Thomas, professor of history at Temple University, will present the annual guest lecture for the Postdoctoral Fellowship in African American Studies on Tuesday, April 15, at 11:30 a.m. in Mather House, room 100.

Her talk is titled “‘Make Us A Power’: Religious Masculinity and Black Feminist Resistance.”

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
