Hispanic Heritage Month: Lecture and Q&A with Dylan Marron

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, a lecture and Q&A with Dylan Marron will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom. Marron is an IFP Gotham Award- and Drama Desk-nominated writer, performer and video maker who focuses on social justice issues.

Marron is the voice of Carlos on the hit podcast “Welcome to Nightvale,” an alum of the New York Neo Futurists and the creator of “Every Single Word” (Tumblr’s “Most Viral Blog” of 2016 and Short Award Nominee). He is also a writer, correspondent and popular contributor to Seriously.tv.

The event is free and open to the public. The Alianza Latina/Latino Alliance employee resource group, Office of Multicultural Affairs, La Alianza, Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Congress executive boards, LGBT Center, Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, and the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity will sponsor this event.
