As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Department of Dance, Kelvin Smith Library and Alianza Latina will co-sponsor a Flamenco Intro Class Oct. 17 from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. in the Mather Dance Center.
This class will cover the history and evolution of the form, arm and footwork, improvisational structures, rhythms, and self-expression. This event is a guest lecture for Dance 121. Event spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No flamenco experience or shoes are necessary.
