Art Forward, in cooperation with University Program Board, will have a pop-up art gallery titled “Hidden Voices: Revealing the Stories of Incarcerated Youth” Friday, Dec. 6, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Thwing Center atrium. Artwork made by youth at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center over the semester with guidance from Case Western Reserve University student volunteers will be on display.
In addition to the art gallery, there will be art activities such as string art, and an opportunity to participate in a collaborative piece with the youth at the detention center.
This event is free and food will be provided.
