Help researchers understand how to help PhD students thrive

Have insights into how to improve the PhD journey? We are recruiting senior PhD students to participate in a study to explore how support from your peers and resources of any kind shape your journey and share your insights with other PhD students and with our University. This research, supported by the Coaching Research Lab and the School of Graduate Studies, centers around your experiences in your PhD program.

In exchange for completing two 45-minute interviews and two 20-minute surveys, you will be eligible for two one-hour coaching sessions with certified executive coaches who can help you to explore how to make progress on your PhD, engage in new behaviors that support your learning, explore career options for life post PhD and to reflect on who you are when you are at your best.

To be eligible, you must be a PhD student at CWRU who has finished the first two years of their PhD program, be a student for the entirety of the 2018-2019 academic year and cannot have previously had executive coaching.

Your participation in the study is completely voluntary. Any information you share will be kept confidential. Any data published resulting from this research will not include information that could identify you.

If you would like to participate in the study, please visit https://goo.gl/fZNguZ to register by Friday, January 18th or if you have any questions about participating in this study, please contact Mandy Varley at amv70@case.edu.

We hope you will consider participating in this study to further our understanding of how to help students thrive on their PhD journeys!
