Help hurricane relief efforts by donating blood at last on-campus drive this year

Hurricane Sandy has affected blood supplies across the nation, and the American Red Cross is urging individuals in locations unaffected by the storm to schedule an appointment to give blood and platelets soon. Blood donations will be vital in ensuring patient care continues regardless of the weather.

To assist in these efforts, the last major blood drives of the semester will take place on campus Nov. 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom.

Appointments can be made online, but walk-ins are also welcome.
