Starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 1), dozens of large trucks will begin arriving at the construction site for additional student housing in the South Residential Village.
Between 80 to 100 trucks will be arriving daily at the location near Fribley Commons on Murray Hill Road to unload dry fill for the project—and carry away existing wet soil at the site.
The heavy truck presence is expected to continue weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through next Thursday, Sept. 8. Drivers may experience brief delays in the area—in particular during high-traffic times in the morning and evening.
Additional police officers and construction staff will be at the site to assist in directing vehicles and pedestrians in the area. Those able to take alternate routes to campus over the next several days are encouraged to do so.
