The third annual Women in STEMM Panel and Meet & Greet will be held Jan. 29 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356.

The panel will feature six panelists who will address ways women and minorities can succeed in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) careers and how we all can advocate for others.

The panel will be composed of the following individuals:

  • Alexis Abramson, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at and former Flora Stone Mather Center for Women – Women of Achievement recipient;
  • Jackie Adams, a computer engineer, STEMM advocate and CWRU alumna;
  • Cheri Brent, North American director of environment, health and safety at PPG Industries;
  • Ka-Pi Hoh, head of research, development and testing for LZA China at Lubrizol Corp.;
  • Robyn N. Gordon, director of the Center Operations Directorate at NASA Glenn Research Center; and
  • Paul Lewis, global operations director of Oilfield Solutions at Lubrizol Corp.

Lunch will be provided at the event. Dress is business casual.
