History’s Renee Sentilles to speak on gender in the United States

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women Community Advisory Board will hold its first salon speaker event of the academic year Friday, Nov. 20, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Lynne Alfred will host the event at 2618 West Park Blvd., Shaker Heights.

Renee Sentilles, associate professor of history and author, will present “Understanding Gender in the United States.” She will discuss The American Tomboy, which she is in the process of writing.
