The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics will host Cara Carty, assistant professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Epidemiology and Biostatistics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, for a talk as part of EPBI 502. The event is open to the university community.
Carty will present “Epigenetics and Aging in the Women’s Health Initiative” today (Feb. 3) noon in the Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building, Room 1413.
Epigenetics is the study of changes in an organism when the gene expression is altered, rather than the genetic code.
