In honor of these efforts, the Center of International Affairs will host wide-ranging programming and highlight international and study abroad student experiences in The Daily. Stay tuned throughout the week to learn more.

Junwoo Shim is a second-year law student originally from South Korea. He is a vice president of the Asian Law Students Association and treasurer of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. As a member of the International Student Advisory Council, he strives to provide his know-how and advice to international students and positively contribute to the CWRU campus.

He shared more about his experience as an international student.

“I came to CWRU with the hope for a greater opportunity and insightful learning to become a transactional lawyer, my long-cherished dream. I love Cleveland, where trendy restaurants and various communities thrive, and where nature is beautiful.”
