Haima Therapeutics, a CWRU spinoff, funded by Department of Defense

Haima Therapeutics, a company whose technology is licensed out of Case Western Reserve University and was invented by Professor of Biomedical Engineering Anirban Sen Gupta, has received $150,000 from the U.S. Department of Defense.

The funding is to support the company’s research titled “Logistical and Functional Evaluation of SynthoPlateTM (Intravenous Synthetic Platelet) Technology for Pre-Hospital Hemorrhage Control.”
