Habitat for Humanity will host its annual “Let’s Shack Up!” event on Friday, Sept. 16, on Freiberger Field. The event seeks to drive awareness about substandard housing issues, as teams of students build cardboard structures to sleep in over night. The most creative teams will win prizes.
Students from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Institute of Music are invited to attend.
Bon Appetit will provide free food for participants, and entertainment will be provided by student groups such as IMPROVment, Solstice, Speakeasy, Case In Point, Dhamakapella, Spartan Dance Team, Spartan Tappers and the Juggling Club.
Prices are as follows: 1-4 people: $6/person, 5-8 people: $5/person, 9+ people: $4/person. Register in Nord Hall Sept. 12-15 or email mch62@case.edu with any questions.
