The center’s staff is available to support the university’s staff in achieving their professional development goals.

The Professional Development Center (PDC) offers two main areas of programming: community training sessions and one-on-one career development sessions.

This semester, the center is offering almost 40 community training sessions on topics like effectively giving feedback, emotional intelligence, delegation and accountability, and more. Visit the PDC website or find ‘HR Professional Development Center’ in CampusGroups for more information and to register for an upcoming event.

Career development sessions are private, one-on-one sessions in which staff members are able to discuss a variety of professional development-related topics including how to have difficult conversations, how to approach performance review meetings for staff or supervisors, getting your resume up to date, and more.
