As part of Case Western Reserve University Food Week, the Office for Sustainability will host a Green Bag Lunch titled “The State of Composting at CWRU” Wednesday, April 12, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom A.
The event will highlight how the university composts food waste from campus kitchens and how backyard composting works.
The panelists will be:
- The Office for Sustainability’s Erin Kollar;
- Cuyahoga Solid Waste District’s Kathleen Rocco; and

Attendees will have the chance to ask panelists about their own at-home composting.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch to eat during the discussion along with a reusable mug for a drink. The Office for Sustainability will provide desserts and coffee.
Registration is available online.
The presentations given at this event, and all those given at past Green Bag Lunches, are available online after the event at case.edu/sustainability/what-were-doing/green-bag-lunch-series/.
