The world is coming together to address the 17 biggest challenges facing humanity and fixing these problems by 2030 through the UN’s Global Goals—including ending poverty and hunger, combating climate change, and protecting the environment.
Case Western Reserve University community members can learn practical ideas for how to get involved and use the Global Goals in their own lives at the next Green Bag Lunch Series event.
Titled “The Global Goals and You,” the event will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center senior classroom.
The CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability and the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit at the Weatherhead School of Management will co-sponsor this event.
RSVP for the event on Eventbrite.
Coffee and dessert will be served. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch and questions for presenters.
