Forbes: Grant Goodrich, executive director of the Great Lakes Energy Institute, weighed in a plan by U.S. House Democrats to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions in the United States to zero by 2050, a goal they propose to achieve by requiring all new cars to be electric by 2035, eliminating emissions from the power sector by 2040, and potentially adopting a version of a carbon tax on emissions.
