Graffiti Live! brings color to campus Sept. 16 in UPB-sponsored event

On Sunday, Sept. 16, from noon to 6 p.m., the University Program Board will bring in graffiti artists from New York to provide background on the rich culture of graffiti and to do a live demonstration of their artwork in Graffiti Live!

The event will begin with a talk, and the rest of the day will be devoted to the painting. The graffiti will take place at Leutner Pavilion (rain location Adelbert Gym), along with music courtesy of DJs Jeremy Pomerantz and Jordan Brown.

This is an opportunity to witness the making of CWRU artwork that will remain on campus for years to come. The artists will periodically ask for help from audience members as well, so attendees should come prepared to get in on the artsy action.
