Graduate students are needed to serve as members of the Academic Integrity Board/University Judicial Board. Being a member of the board provides a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with students, faculty and administrators in an atmosphere that promotes respect, community and integrity. The board aims to develop a community characterized by the values necessary to succeed in academic and professional life.
Serving on the board also presents students with an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Some of the skills board members learn include:
- Navigating challenging situations;
- Collaboration;
- Communicating their opinions;
- Advocacy;
- Listening;
- Critical thinking and evaluating; and
- Identifying their underlying biases.
Board positions are available immediately, with training to take place this summer. Additional positions are available for the 2020-21 academic year.
