The Graduate Student Council has revamped its Professional Development Conference this year. Instead of a one-day event in the spring, there will be monthly virtual seminars, each with a different subject of discussion. The Graduate Student Council hopes to give graduate students the flexibility to build professional development over the course of a year.
The fourth workshop, titled “Tax 101”, will be held today (Nov. 17) from 6 to 7 p.m. EST. Apple Growth will lead the workshop, covering tax basics. At the end of the workshop, $250 in Amazon gift cards will be raffled off, with 10 attendees each receiving a $25 gift card.
