The next Graduate Diversity 360 session will focus on community engagement and be held Thursday, Nov. 14, at 5:30 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A11.
Through the Graduate Diversity 360 program, a cohort of graduate students further explores topics introduced through the Diversity 360 program through facilitated sessions, panels or guest speakers on the following topics:
- Understanding those that are undocumented;
- A local evening of service;
- Women’s health access;
- Multiracial/multiethnic identities;
- Ecological awareness; and
- Gender diversity.
This month, students will make fleece blankets to donate, and learn more about community service from Betsy Banks, director of the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning.
