The School of Graduate Studies is looking for graduate and professional students to serve as members of the Academic Integrity Board/University Judicial Board.
Being a member of the board provides a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with students, faculty and administrators in an atmosphere that promotes respect, community and integrity. The board aims to develop a community characterized by the values necessary to succeed in academic and professional life.
Serving on the board also gives students an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Some of the skills learned by serving as a board member include:
- Navigating challenging situations;
- Collaboration;
- Communicating your opinion;
- Advocacy;
- Listening;
- Critical thinking and evaluating; and
- Identifying your underlying biases.
