The Government of India selected Pallavi Tiwari, research assistant professor in biomedical engineering and in the Center for Computational Imaging and Personalized Diagnostics, as one of the 100 Women Achievers of India.
The award recognizes women who are making an impact in diverse fields. Tiwari was selected for her work in developing novel software technology for early cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
President Pranab Mukherjee will congratulate her at an award ceremony Jan. 22 in New Delhi.
