Google has been previewing a new interface design for webmail, Calendar, Sites, and Docs that will be made the default sometime over the next two weeks upon logging in to these services. For a limited time, users will be able to switch back to the “classic” look by clicking the “gear” icon in the upper-right of the page and selecting “Use the classic look.” Google has indicated, however, that this option will be disabled in the future and the new look will become permanent.
