The Office for Sustainability will host its second annual Big Green Event Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom C.
The event will feature a performance of Cuyahoga, Briefly, which is a 10-minute play about the Cuyahoga River with only three actors and no props. Cathleen O’Malley of the Cleveland Public Theater created and will direct the play.
A wide variety of groups engaged in sustainability across campus will provide brief lightning-round reports out about their initiatives.
The Office for Sustainability also will recognize and celebrate several Campus Climate Champions—individuals who have worked hard to take sustainable action at Case Western Reserve University.
Appetizers will be served at the event.

The following week, the Office for Sustainability will host the next installment of its Green Bag Lunch Series Tuesday, Nov. 24, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Student Organization Center. This lunchtime discussion will cover green gift giving, with presentations from The Upcycle Parts Shop.
