The Center for International Affairs invites faculty and staff members to learn how to pronounce the names of their students from Mandarin-speaking regions during a Global Talk Series event titled “Say My Name: Chinese Names.” The goal of this session is to help faculty and staff members gain a better understanding of how to support their students in the classroom.
Led by Elizabeth Miller, assistant director of International Student Services, this session will take place Tuesday, March 21, from 1 to 2:15 p.m. in the Freedman Center Collaboration Commons of Kelvin Smith Library.
