Students are invited to learn more about the short-term spring break program “Global Health Design in Uganda” at an information session Friday, Oct. 6, at 12:30 p.m. in Wickenden Building, Room 328.
Andrew Rollins, professor of biomedical engineering, and Janet McGrath, professor of anthropology, co-teach the course.
The class meets weekly during spring semester and includes travel to Uganda during spring break. Students work on global health technology projects with collaborators in Uganda and travel to rural health centers in Uganda to work with local stakeholders.
The course can be taken as either ENGR 350U or ANTH 300 and is open to all majors.
