Giving Kids Hope

This year’s Giving Kids Hope event to benefit and celebrate the Research Institute for Children’s Health will take place on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m at Michael Angelo’s Winery.

Now in its eighth year, this annual event will be hosted by Mitchell Drumm, director of the Research Institute for Children’s Health at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and emceed by Fox 8 anchor Natalie Herbick and sports personality Andy Baskin.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Northern soul-inspired local artist Abe LaMarca.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Research Institute for Children’s Health, which has a mission of improving the treatment of genetic diseases and disorders through accelerated biomedical research in genetic-based childhood illnesses that still lack effective therapies.

The event will feature an evening of dining, auctions and entertainment.
