Case Western Reserve University alumni affinity groups offer opportunities for members of the university community to connect over shared interests and form common bonds on meaningful levels beyond the traditional class reunions and regional chapter event structure. These groups actively support the university through student recruitment, career mentoring, community service, social activities and more.
All members of the CWRU community—including students, faculty and staff—are welcome to learn more about these groups and find out how to get involved with events and other activities they host.
Affinity groups provide opportunities for alumni to get involved and meet other alumni in their shared areas of interest and encourage mentorship and support of students.
Several affinity groups are recruiting student groups and alumni for increased involvement:
- African American Alumni Association
- CWRU Pride LGBT Network
- Jewish Alumni Network
- Latinx Alumni Association
- Undergraduate Student Government Alumni Network
The Alumni Association also would like to expand its affinity groups to include:
- Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi [Indian] and Asian-American (APIDAA) Alumni Network
- Athletics Alumni Network
- Former Staff Members of The Observer Alumni Network
- Greek Life Alumni Network
- Veterans Alumni Network
