Case Western Reserve University, Social Security Administration and the Ohio Department of Insurance are teaming up to help faculty and staff understand their options for Social Security and Medicare. All CWRU employees are invited to the following instructional workshops to learn more.
Social Security
These presentations will offer clear, concise information regarding Social Security retirement and spousal and survivor benefits. Employees with questions about applying for Social Security benefits are encouraged to attend.
These sessions will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the following times:
- 10 a.m. in Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 106
- 1 p.m. in Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building, Room 1203
Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program/Medicare
The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, the state’s official source for free, unbiased Medicare information and counseling, will host this session. Information provided will help new and soon-to-be beneficiaries understand the basics of Medicare.
These sessions will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the following times:
- 11 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105
- 2 p.m. in Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 106
Registration is not needed to attend the events.
