Get all your need-to-know information about fall 2015 tuition, fees

Fall 2015 tuition and fees are available in the Student Information System (SIS) for all students who have registered for classes.

Payment in full for Fall 2015 is due by Sept. 4. Monthly payment plans were available in May. The only monthly payment plan available now is a two-month extension beyond the Sept. 4 due date to Nov. 4, with a 2.7 percent fee for the extension.

Domestic students, or international students with U.S. bank accounts, can pay tuition through SIS using any of the following methods:

  • E-check (you must know your bank account number and your bank’s routing number)
  • Credit card (American Express, Discover, Visa or MasterCard) but the payment processing company (not CWRU) will charge a 2.7 percent fee
  • Personal check or bank check. Students are advised to include their seven-digit student ID on their check. These must be made payable in US dollars to “Case Western Reserve University” or “CWRU” and mailed or delivered to:

Cashier’s Office
Case Western Reserve University
10900 Euclid Avenue
Yost Hall, Room 165
Cleveland, Ohio 44106-7043

International students who do not have U.S. bank accounts can pay using peerTransfer or bank-to-bank wire transfer. Learn more at case.edu/studentaccounts/billing-payments/methods-of-payment/. Instructions for peerTransfer are available in nine languages.

All unpaid balances after Sept. 4 are subject to monthly late fees at the rate of 1.5 percent. Students cannot register for upcoming semesters or receive transcripts or diplomas if they have not paid their accounts in full.

Financial Aid is posted to students’ accounts as it is disbursed. Visit the Financial Aid website at financialaid.case.edu with questions about awards and loans.

Parents or others who wish to view or pay their student’s account must be authorized by the student to do so. The instructions for authorization are found at case.edu/studentaccounts/billing-payments/authorizing-a-user/.

Student Financial Services will have open office hours at New Student Orientation Sunday, Aug. 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekdays during the academic year from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Yost Hall, Rooms 145 and 147.
