Genetics of dementia/Alzheimer’s disease in minority populations

A study by Dr. Jonathan Haines at Case Western Reserve University is looking for the genetic factors that may contribute to the cause of Alzheimer’s Disease.

We are looking for research participants that meet the following qualifications:

Families of any race/ethnicity:

  •   With more than one person living with dementia, memory loss or Alzheimer’s Disease

African American or Puerto Rican Individuals:

  • Of any age who have dementia, memory loss or Alzheimer’s Disease OR
  • Are 60 or older and do not have memory loss

Individuals of any race/ethnicity:

  • With early onset memory loss (younger than 60 years old)

Your participation can help researchers in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease.  Participants will complete an interview and give a small blood sample.  Interviews and blood draws can be done at your home.  For more information or to enroll in the study call or email:
