“Generations at Work”

Case Western Reserve University’s employee assistance provider, IMPACT Solutions, will offer a seminar titled “Generations at Work” Tuesday, April 23, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.

In today’s competitive workforce, there are four distinct generations working alongside each other—all with their own biases and preferences for working, which often leads to miscommunication and other workplace conflicts. What are the “dos and don’ts” associated with each generation in order to maximize results and enhance workplace relationships? In this presentation, attendees will learn about each generation’s—Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials—common experiences, traits and preferred communication styles. This session is geared toward the higher education space.
