Carolyn Washick, human resources director for employee relations, will give the next lunch and learn series presentation, “Understanding the CWRU Attendance Policy,” Tuesday, Dec. 3, from noon to 1 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209.
There are times when employees report late to work or miss a day due to illness or other issues. When should a supervisor be tracking the time as an occurrence of absence? What is the difference between pre-scheduled and unexcused time off? How does an employee know if they have excessive absenteeism?
This session will review the university attendance policy and provide examples of issues that may come up in day-to-day interactions.
