The International Student Fellowship at CWRU and Global InterVarsity at Cleveland State University will host their annual Furniture and Household Item Giveaway for new international students Saturday, Aug. 9.
Students are advised to arrive at the Church of the Saviour (2537 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights) by 9:30 a.m. to receive a number. The giveaway will begin at 10 a.m. Those who need a ride should email isfcleveland@gmail.com to RSVP. The pickup location will be the Amasa Stone Chapel parking lot at 9:15 a.m. Students are encouraged to find their own ride to the giveaway, if possible.
Large items in the giveaway will be given away through a random lottery draw. The giveaway will not be based on a first-come, first-served basis, so students do not need to arrive early.
Transportation will be provided for students and the items they collect in the giveaway.
All items in the giveaway will be useful for apartment living; however, a list of items will not be available beforehand.
