“From Lake to Lagoon: Exploring Sustainability in Cleveland & Venice”

Are you interested in environmental justice, art and architecture, or passionate about sustainable practices? The Department of Art History and Art will host a community-centered town hall event with local leaders in sustainability, waste policy and environmental justice.

Titled “From Lake to Lagoon: Exploring Sustainability in Cleveland & Venice,” this event will be held Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to noon in Samson Pavilion, Room 119.

Live from Venice, Tizziana Baldenebro, executive director of SPACES Cleveland, and Lauren Leving, curator at Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, will discuss their upcoming exhibition “Everlasting Plastics.”

Those who can’t attend in person can tune into the livestream. The event is free and open to all.
