Navigating life after college often has many unexpected twists and turns as graduates enter first jobs, fellowships or graduate school. Working with startups is strikingly similar; at times the next step is crystalline clear, and at others, a winding path that eventually leads to a true north.
Alayna Klco (CWR ’16) will discuss her experience with unexpected turning points after she graduated from CWRU, moving from a Cleveland internship to a Spanish fellowship, then back to Cleveland. Klco, now Director of Business Development at Flashstarts, supports startups and students as they grow in the next stages of their businesses and careers.
Klco’s discussion of startups, internships and the transition from college to career will take place today (March 22) from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Sears Library Building, Room 229.
This event is part of the FaceTime Friday series sponsored by Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education.
