Friday’s Public Affairs Discussion Group to contemplate the future of primary care

In this Friday’s Public Affairs Discussion Group, George Kikano, chair of the Department of Family Medicine, will discuss the intricacies of the state of primary care today.

Kikano will seek to elaborate on the primary care aspect of the medical world and to explain the reasons for the current shortage in primary care physicians.

The discussion begins Oct. 12 at 12:30 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library’s Dampeer Room. Coffee, beverages and cookies are provided.

Since 1989, faculty, emeriti, students and staff have gathered on Fridays for a brown-bag lunch and to discuss topics in public affairs.
