In combination with Cleveland architectural firm Ayers Saint Gross, the Planning and Design team—part of Campus Planning and Facilities Management—has been honored with recognition from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for their work on the Fribley Commons renovation, which was completed on Aug. 18, 2021. The project was selected for the AIA Maryland Honor Award and AIA Baltimore honorable mention.
“Awards like these are certainly great recognition for design firms, and we were proud to partner with Ayers/Saint/Gross on the Fribley project,” said Vice President of Campus Planning and Facilities Management Dean Tufts. “Additionally, these awards recognize the hard work of our own people here at CWRU. Within our Planning, Design and Construction group, Chris Panichi, Rick Pruden and Rebecca Lowry were an absolutely essential part of the greater Case Western team to ensure this project turned out as well as it did.”
