Students taking classes in or interested in learning French or Spanish are invited to come learn about how languages can help them find jobs in both the U.S. and abroad. The Department of Modern Languages will host a variety of presenters to discuss French and Spanish internship opportunities on Friday, Feb. 28, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Clark Hall, room 306.
The event will include a presentation from Myriam el Mouniri of LANKEY, a Moroccan company offering an internship to French-speaking students. Fabienne Pizot-Haymore and Elena Fernandez, professors in the Department of Modern Languages, will present on French and Spanish certification courses offered at CWRU that can help students improve their level of fluency and get jobs using their language skills. Following the presentations, students will be able to visit presenters’ booths to learn more about CWRU courses, diplomas, and internships.
Lunch will be provided for attendees.
