Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to a forum and reception celebrating the progress (and results) of the 2022–23 student and faculty Freedman Fellows. The forum will be held April 28 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship at Kelvin Smith Library.
Attendees will hear about the impressive research conducted on campus that has been enhanced by digital scholarship tools, and learn about the opportunities of becoming a Freedman Fellow in the upcoming year.
The Walter Freedman and Karen Harrison Freedman Student Fellowships generously provide funding for undergraduate and graduate students to complete targeted digital projects under the guidance of Kelvin Smith Library’s Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship team.
The 2022–23 student fellows are:
- Jill Laquidara, doctoral candidate in clinical psychology;
- Manish Tyagi, master’s in finance student;
- Felix Yan, master’s in finance student; and
- Prajakta Joshi, doctoral candidate in biomedical engineering.
The Freedman Faculty Fellows program is generously funded by the Freedman Fellows Endowment, established by Samuel B. and Marian K. Freedman.
The 2022–23 faculty fellows are:
- Einav Rabinovitch-Fox, Department of History;
- Kevin Inouye, Department of Theater;
- George Blake, Department of Music; and
- Anastasia Dimitropoulos, Department of Psychological Sciences.
