Freedman Center’s Ben Gorham co-writes piece on 2020 3C GIS Day

Ben Gorham, research data specialist at Kelvin Smith Library’s Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship, co-authored an article in the Journal of Map and Geography Libraries about the 2020 3C GIS Day.

He co-organized the event with librarians from The Ohio State University and University of Cincinnati.

“For our web content analysis, we specifically focus on gathering information about GIS Day programs in 2019 and 2020, allowing for an examination of how libraries participating in GIS Day responded to the operational challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as new opportunities that may have emerged during this period,” Gorman said.
