The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) is covering the costs for CWRU undergraduate and graduate students to tune in virtually to the Cleveland Leadership Center’s annual Accelerate pitch competition, held Monday, Feb. 22 through Thursday, Feb. 25. During the pitch competition, students will hear community members advocate for their civic innovation ideas within the categories of Authentic Cleveland Experiences, Economic Development, Education, Health & Well-being, Quality of Life, and Social Change. View the presenter list and ideas available online.
Students are welcome to tune in that week as their schedules allow; most pitches occur daily between 4 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with optional networking time between sessions. Those who participate in the final evening will be able to vote on the winner. Explore the full details and register through CCEL by Sunday, Feb. 14, on CampusGroups.
