The event will feature a keynote address by Kathryn H Bowles, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, Professor of Nursing and van Ameringen Chair of Nursing Excellence at University of Pennsylvania. Bowles also is co-founder of RightCare Solutions, the first nursing business seeded by Upstart, Penn’s technology transfer host.

She will present “A Business Idea from Practice: Never Doubt Your Ability to Innovate!”

  • Jennifer Doering, PhD, RN, Associate Professor and Executive Committee Chair at UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing, and co-creator of the Infant Sleep Pod
  • Stephen D. Fening, PhD, director of the Case-Coulter Translational Research Partnership, and co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Apto Orthopaedics Corporation.
