Students are invited to participate in a North Star Experience out of the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, a program that connects students with business leaders and social entrepreneurs. Through the program, students learn about appreciative inquiry and the United Nations Global Goals and conduct an appreciative inquiry-style interview of a business leader or social entrepreneur to write a story to be published on the AIM2Flourish.com website.
Students who take this North Star Experience will gain an understanding of appreciative inquiry and the UN Global Goals, will conduct an interview of a business leader or social entrepreneur, and will end up with a published story they can highlight on their resume or LinkedIn page.
The AIM2Flourish Experience will have three one-hour virtual meetings this semester, held Sept. 30, Oct. 7 and Nov. 11.
The full experience schedule will be as follows (all events will be virtual):
- Appreciative Inquiry Workshop: Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 5 p.m.
- UN Global Goals and Project Description Workshop: Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 4 to 5p.m.
- Project Wrap-up Session: Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m.
