Leatrice Madison volunteered for 36 groups: news obituary
The Plain Dealer: Leatrice Madison, an award-winning activist who helped integrate Cleveland Heights and led 36 civic groups, died March 30 at age 89. Among the 85 committees on which she served throughout her life, Madison was on the Case Western Reserve University Board of Overseers and worked on the university’s Visiting Committee for the Humanities. Her husband, Robert P. Madison, is an emeritus trustee at the university.
