How would you redesign Kelvin Smith Library? Form teams and compete in Kelvin Smith Library’s Student Redesign Competition 2.0.
This team-based competition challenges students to propose changes to any physical space within the library to build upon its transformation into an intellectual center for campus research and learning. Proposed changes can range from small changes to full redesigns.
The first place team will be awarded $2,000. If there are enough teams entered in the competition, there will be a second prize of $1,000 and a third prize of $500.

Important Dates
- Now: Submit any questions you may have via this Google form.
- Feb. 27: Submit a “Statement of Intent” to simply indicate that your team plans to submit a proposal, including the name, college and email address of each team member, to gina.midlik@case.edu no later than noon. Follow this example statement.
- March 30: Final written proposals must be submitted to gina.midlik@case.edu by 5 p.m.
- April: Qualifying teams will present their proposals to the evaluation panel and members of the university community (actual date TBD).
- April 20: Awards will be announced.
