“Food for the Soul: Through the Lens of Our Stories, the King Legacy Today”

The greater Case Western Reserve University community is invited to “Food for the Soul,” a celebration of soul food, poetry and prose. Members of the community will share quotes and speech passages from Martin Luther King Jr., or others addressing how King might respond to issues in the U.S. today.

The celebration will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Thwing Center atrium.

A soul food lunch will be served.

The Office of Student Activities & Leadership and the Office of Multicultural Affairs will collaborate to offer the event, with funding support from the MLK Celebration Week advisory committee.
