Flora Stone Mather Center for Women offers professional and leadership develop program for tenured women faculty

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women is recruiting for the eighth class of its professional and leadership development program for tenured women faculty, “What’s Next?”

The program was developed for tenured women faculty members interested in focusing on their career vision and path and enhancing their formal or informal leadership within their academic unit and discipline/profession. The objectives of the program are to enhance leadership and career development skills, articulate a clear career vision and develop change leadership expertise.

The program will be held Jan. 24, Feb. 21 and March 20 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. 

Content will include career visioning, enhancing skills of leadership and negotiation, building social capital and influence, preparing for success in difficult conversations, and understanding university structure. Two individual coaching sessions are included. 

Diana Bilimoria, chair of the Department of Organizational Behavior and the KeyBank Professor, and Susan Freimark, senior associate director of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, will facilitate the program.
